I get this from a friend, and feels it reasonalble. Does it mean anything to you?
“ The man who lives without conflict, who lives with beauty and love, is not frightened of death because to love is to die.”
To love is to die? A deep question. I remember when reading Osho's book, he mentioned an opinion that To love is to allow the melting of "ego", I feel his saying very right.
Not quite understand of what your friend meant of "to live is to die", but agree that there is no fear in great love.
It is easy for me to understand that love is not frightened of death, but a little difficult for me to understand that to love is to die. It reminds me of the death of Jesus. His love to us is to die for us. His great love touches me a lot.
In my understanding, only one with no ego can truly love, in this sense, one who fully surrenders to the creator and is able to love unconditionally is already like died once . When the ego dies true love will arise from our Self.
Not sure if this is what your friend meant though. 🙂
Love is the forever theme for human being. 😆
I feel it is right. But i cannot explain it till i saw the answers here. One's ego dies, and there is only love exists.

Yeah, Jesus's love is broad and profound.
