Gabi is an ecotourism guide. Unlike traditional guides, she leads tourists on tours in nature or eco-communities, through close contact with nature, inspiring and encouraging people to love and protect nature. She loves nature, does not follow any religion, and does not plan to marry in the future. She understands our way of life, disliking the jealousy and dishonesty often found in traditional male-female relationships，she chose to remain single and travel alone, experiencing different cultures and lifestyles and finding a way of life she truly loves.
Gabi experienced life at Thai home for six days. In the mornings, she worked in the fields with Yang Le Jiao E. In the afternoons, talked about life values and watched community videos with Qian Zi, and learned Tai Chi from Yi Xian. During group activities, she joined us in making dumplings, baking cakes, playing poker, and other games. She also taught us to dance the passionate South American dance, salsa. The close contact with nature and the diverse and enriching cultural activities at our community made her feel the fullness, joy, peace, and beauty of our collective life. She told me it was her first experience of community life, but it brought her unexpected happiness and joy! Every member liked this diligent, polite, cheerful, and energetic girl, and we hugged and blessed her when she left.
While waiting for the bus to Chiang Mai together, she suddenly asked me, “Your community allows free love and sex. If you have a man you love most, how do you manage to be willing and happy to share and not feel any jealousy?” I told her that as humans, we are inherently selfish and unwilling to share. In the past, community members in China also had one-on-one relationships. It is a difficult obstacle for humans to overcome, but after more than ten years of the learning of lifechanyuan values and practice in community life, we have gradually been able to not rely on external emotions and focus on perfecting our own qualities, making ourselves independent and elevating our love to a great love,so we can meet the standards of celestials and eventually leave the human world to enter the celestial realm.
