Marriage isn’t for everyone, especially these days. In 2014, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that 124.6 million Americans 16 years and older were single ― or 50.2 percent of the population ― compared with 37.4 percent of the population in 1976.
What’s behind the decision to stay single? Below, 16 women on the secret-sharing app Whisper share some of the biggest reasons why they’ve said “thanks, but no thanks” to marriage.

I quite agree with this reason, “I can’t see myself belonging to someone for the rest of my life.”
All the stupid people are married.
All the wise people are single.
If anybody’s happy depend on somebody else, wurely,happy becomes misery.
